  • Koo Chia Meng

    Trained as a filmmaker, Chia Meng has been actively involved in various aspects of film production since 2009.

    In 2013, he started directing music videos for Singaporean musicians as well as casting for feature films such as Anthony Chen’s ‘ILO ILO’ (2013) and Boo Junfeng's 'APPRENTICE' (2016).

    As Multimedia Designer, Chia Meng's credits include productions by W!ld Rice, The Finger Players, Drama Box, Toy Factory, The TENG Company, Warner Music Singapore and Singapore Repertory Theatre. Chia Meng then ventured into larger scale shows like Ah Boys To Men: The Musical, Michael Learns To Rock 25: Live in Singapore as well as National Day Parade 2017 & 2018.

    At the Straits Times Life Theatre Awards 2019, Chia Meng and co-designer Andrew Robert Ng were awarded Best Multimedia for their work on W!ld Rice's 'Supervision'.

    Chia Meng founded Fiction Shore to produce video content, for both the film and theatre industries, along with other collaborators and artists.

  • Lin Weidong

    An award-winning radio feature maker, Weidong was a sought-after Mandarin Radio Producer/Presenter with SPH Radio UFM1003. He joined Monocle 24 as a Sound Engineer/Designer in 2015 and is now a Studio Director with the BBC.

    A fond interest in image-making led him to begin taking stills for independent films with young Singaporean directors like Boo Junfeng and Anthony Chen. His work has also been exhibited and published in books and magazines.

    Dabbling in cinematography, theatre multimedia design, sound design for film, theatre and radio, he is always interested in expanding his vocabulary and craft in the visual and auditory.

    Also a Yoga Alliance (USA) certified Yoga Instructor, Weidong completed his MA Radio with distinction at Goldsmiths, University of London and is currently based in the United Kingdom.

  • Xu Xin'en

    Motivated by her passion for the arts, Xin’en has taken on a myriad of roles within the local entertainment industry.

    As a producer, she has worked with Dream Academy and Double Confirm Productions on popular and critically acclaimed shows such as KUMAR: What Makes A Man A Man?, Company, Crazy Christmas, The Hossan Leong Show and the Hossan-AH! series. She is proud to have production managed W!LD RICE’s Singapore Theatre Festival 2016 and its annual pantomime as well as for Singapore F1 Grand Prix.

    Wanting to venture beyond theatre, Xin’en started producing with Fiction Shore for multimedia, film and music video, taking on projects such as NDP17, NDP18, Music Videos, TVCs, short films and more.

  • Ng Yong Yi

    Yong Yi completed his degree in Visual Communications at Nanyang Technological University.

    After working with Black Design for two years, he founded Semistudio in mid-2013, and became part of the Fiction Shore collective as the (design consultant/graphic designer).

    With years of experience under his belt, Yong Yi has also taught design and typography at various institutions.

  • Maximilian Liang

    Maximilian graduated from the School of Film & Media Studies, Ngee Ann Polytechnic in 2017 with a diploma in Film, Sound & Video.

    Aside from an experienced freelancer, he has worked on numerous projects with Ngee Ann as well as with HonourSG, having a number of his creative works featured. Most recently, his short film 'Developing' was screened in the European Union Film Festival 2018 held in Singapore alongside other international films.

    He has also been heavily involved in the multimedia work of National Day Parade 2018, working alongside Chia Meng as well as then show director Boo Jun Feng. He is bent on honing his craft in film and advertising, creating bolder stories with more ambitious set-ups through visual storytelling.
